Tired back? Ease into your hardscaping with our most affordable and light weight quarried stone consisting of small pieces that work great for:
Stacked on a pallet and sold at $3 a square foot.
Range of weight 2-10lb
Random irregular shapes in sizes 4-15 inch long x 3-6 inch wide and 2-4 inch thick
Example:
You pace off a 30ft straight line in your yard and plan a 1ft high wall for a flower bed.
Since it's so short, you plan to piece the random shaped rocks together in layers that are about 8 inches wide.
If the stone layers average 3 inches thick, you'll need four 3 inch layers to get 12 inches high, right?
So each 3 inch layer is 30 feet long x two-thirds feet (8in) wide = 20 square feet. You need four layers, so 20ft x 4 layers = 80 square feet total x $3/foot
= $240 for a 30ft long low flower bed wall.

= $800 for a dry-stacked natural ledge stone fireplace.
